PNG quality compression reduces colors while keeping the selected pixel dimensions and transparency. Lower settings may affect gradients, fine detail, or colors. Compare the saved image with the original and raise quality if needed.
No. The images are read and processed in your browser without uploading their contents for conversion or compression. Keep the originals available while the batch finishes, then review the downloaded files before sharing or submitting them.
The target is an upper limit, not an exact byte count. Compression aims for a result at or below it. Very small limits may be unreachable within the processing budget; try a larger target or smaller dimensions and check the downloaded bytes.
By Quality keeps the selected pixel dimensions. By Size first adjusts compression and may reduce dimensions proportionally to reach the limit. Check the downloaded width and height when a receiving form also requires a particular resolution.
Choose PNG or WebP output for an image that already has transparent areas. JPG produces an opaque result. Review the background setting and inspect edges after saving; reducing file size does not automatically remove an existing background.
The download workspace lets you save completed images individually or together in a ZIP. If one image fails, completed results remain available. Review each result and retry the failed image with another target or format when needed.
