The ResizeBox Background Remover browser extensions for Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox process images locally on the user's device. Images selected in the extensions are not uploaded to ResizeBox servers.

• The extensions do not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data or image content
• The extensions do not require a ResizeBox account and do not use remote code
• Chrome and Microsoft Edge use the `sidePanel` permission only to display the background-removal interface; Firefox uses its sidebar interface for the same purpose
• On first use, AI model data may be downloaded from Hugging Face and cached locally by the browser; user images are not sent to Hugging Face
• Generated images remain on your device and are saved only when you choose to download them

Information We Don't Collect

Because our image processing tools work entirely locally, we do NOT collect:

• Your uploaded images or processed files
• Image metadata, EXIF information, or file contents
• File names, sizes, or image dimensions
