FEATURES

Prepare DSSSB uploads with very different scales

The DSSSB portrait is much larger than the compact signature, so the two documents need different crops and compression targets.

Large 480x672 portrait

The DSSSB Photo preset uses a detailed 480x672 px canvas and targets 50-300 KB.

Compact 140x110 signature

Signature is reduced to 140x110 px and targets 10-40 KB, far smaller than the portrait file.

Large file-size difference

Photo can be several times larger than Signature, so each document is compressed under its own configured range.

Portrait detail preserved

Use the larger photo frame to position the candidate without unnecessarily cutting useful portrait detail.

Signature kept readable

The signature frame is compact but relatively tall, so center the handwriting and inspect it after resizing.

Independent DSSSB checks

Verify dimensions and KB values for both outputs because success on the large photo does not imply the signature is correctly prepared.

HOW IT WORKS

Prepare DSSSB photo and signature

Handle the large portrait and compact signature as separate assets rather than applying one resizing approach to both.

STEP 1

Open the DSSSB document tab

Choose Photo for 480x672 px or Signature for 140x110 px.

STEP 2

Position the source at the right scale

Center the candidate portrait or keep the complete handwriting visible in the much smaller signature area.

STEP 3

Resize to the active range

Create the JPG and confirm 50-300 KB for Photo or 10-40 KB for Signature before saving.

Prepare DSSSB application images

Create the large portrait and compact signature JPGs with their own dimensions and compression ranges.
