FEATURES

One workspace for both GDS image requirements

Switch between the two India Post GDS image types without searching for separate size, format, DPI, and file-size settings.

Photo and signature presets

Use one GDS workspace for the 320x400 px photo and the 300x120 px signature, with each tab applying its own fixed dimensions and upload limits automatically.

Correct KB range for each file

Photo output stays within 30-100 KB while Signature output stays within 20-100 KB, so switching tabs also switches the file-size rule used for encoding.

JPG/JPEG output by default

Both document types export as JPG/JPEG, removing an extra format decision and helping you avoid preparing a correct crop that the application portal cannot accept.

Preset-specific crop shape

Photo uses a portrait 4:5 frame while Signature uses a wide 5:2 frame, and the crop target updates as you switch tabs without stretching the source image.

Supported DPI without extra controls

The GDS presets keep a supported DPI value in the JPEG while hiding unnecessary manual controls, so the workflow stays focused on framing and downloading.

Keep the uploaded source while switching

When an image is already open, changing from Photo to Signature keeps the source in the editor and refreshes the target frame, letting you adjust instead of re-uploading.

HOW IT WORKS

Prepare GDS photo and signature in three steps

Choose the document type first, review its fixed requirements, then frame and download the image.

STEP 1

Choose Photo or Signature

Select the tab for the file you are preparing and confirm the dimensions, KB range, format, and DPI shown under Required Output.

STEP 2

Upload and adjust the crop

Open the source image, then move or zoom it inside the 4:5 photo frame or 5:2 signature frame until the important content is visible.

STEP 3

Resize and save the result

Create the JPG with the active preset, let ResizeBox fit the file-size range, and save the finished image from the download page.

Prepare both GDS application images

Use the Photo and Signature tabs to apply the right GDS preset, review each crop, and create upload-ready JPG files without manual sizing.
