This tool does not compose the name/date area. Start with a correctly prepared source and keep that text visible while fitting it to 275x354 px.
The configured signature keeps the same width as the photo but uses a much shorter 118 px height suited to a horizontal handwritten image.
You can reposition or zoom the source, but watch the lower edge so any required name and date remain inside the final portrait crop.
