Prepare Tamil Nadu PSC photo and signature files
Prepare application images for the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, commonly called Tamil Nadu PSC or TNPSC, using separate portrait and handwritten signature presets.
TNPSC portrait dimensions
The Photo tab creates a 275x354 px portrait and targets 20-50 KB for the application image.
Name and date stay visible
If your TNPSC source includes the required name and photo date at the bottom, position the image so that text remains inside the final crop.
275x118 signature canvas
The Signature tab uses a wider 275x118 px frame and targets 10-20 KB for the handwritten file.
Portrait and signature separated
Switching tabs keeps the photo crop from being reused for the much flatter TNPSC signature.
JPG output with fixed pixels
Both TNPSC documents are exported as JPG while retaining the dimensions shown for the active tab.
Final application check
Inspect both the candidate image and any visible text or handwriting after compression before attaching the files to the TNPSC form.
Prepare TNPSC application images
Frame the portrait carefully, especially if the source carries a name and date, then prepare the signature under its own preset.
Choose the TNPSC document
Open the TNPSC tab that matches the source and confirm the active dimensions and KB range.
Keep required content in frame
For Photo, preserve the portrait and any name/date text; for Signature, keep the full handwriting visible.
Inspect the TNPSC result
Create the JPG, verify the file-size range and review the final details before submission.
Create TNPSC photo and signature JPGs
Prepare both state application images with their TNPSC-specific dimensions and KB targets.
Tamil Nadu PSC photo and signature FAQ
Questions about the portrait, signature and keeping source text visible in the TNPSC photo crop.
The TNPSC Photo preset uses 275x354 px and targets 20-50 KB in JPG.
For TNPSC, Signature uses 275x118 px and targets 10-20 KB.
Position the source so the portrait and the printed text remain visible inside the 275x354 output rather than cropping the lower text away.
No. The signature canvas is much flatter, so use the Photo tab for the candidate portrait and Signature only for handwriting.
This tool does not compose the name/date area. Start with a correctly prepared source and keep that text visible while fitting it to 275x354 px.
The configured signature keeps the same width as the photo but uses a much shorter 118 px height suited to a horizontal handwritten image.
You can reposition or zoom the source, but watch the lower edge so any required name and date remain inside the final portrait crop.
Compare the Photo and Signature dimensions, KB values and visible source details with the current Tamil Nadu PSC application before upload.
